The Chicago & Midwest Regional Joint Board, Workers United, is seeking an in-house attorney with one (1) to three (3) years of experience as either an attorney handling labor and/or employment matters or as a union business agent or organizer. The union also will consider a recent or future law graduate with union-related or NLRB-related work or internship experience and evidence of a strong commitment to the labor movement. UFCW International Union seeks a summer law clerk. As the largest private sector labor union in North America, the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) represents more than 1.3 million workers in the United States and Canada. Its members are employed principally in retail food stores; food processing, packing and manufacturing plants; department and drugs stores; and distillery and chemical industries.
